A Superb Downtown Hotel

My husband and I wanted to go out of town for a three-day weekend, so we opted for a trip to Chicago. As Peoria-dwellers, we don't get to our historic big city too often. We found a wonderful package deal at the Embassy Suites, and were treated well from the time we got to its front doors and were greeted by the gracious bellman. We were given a very nice room that was clean and simple. The breakfast choices in the beautiful atrium were amazing. You could go to the delicious buffet on one side, or you could get a custom breakfast on the other. My husband and I did both, on two separate days, and they were each excellent. We spent the days strolling through the Art Institute and Millennium Park. Then in the evening we went to the fireworks at the Navy Pier.
